What you'll be doing
The Happy Dog Hub is always on the look out for experienced groomers to join our team. We have a large and established customer base and our groomers are busy every day!
You'll join a salon that takes fear-free, compassionate grooming seriously — a team where the dog's wellbeing always comes first, serving a loyal client base in Thornbury and surrounding suburbs.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of grooming experience and/or grooming training
- Vocational/Technical certificate in grooming preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to manage your own time without supervision
- Personal and reliable transportation
What you'll be responsible for.
Full Grooms & De-shedding
Complete full grooms and de-shedding to breed standards — working across all coat types and temperaments.
Bathing & Drying
Bathe, rinse, brush, trim, blow-dry and finish to salon standard, every single groom.
Nail Trims & Consultations
Nail trims and owner consultations — advising on breed-appropriate grooming schedules and coat care.
Salon Upkeep
Clean and maintain grooming rooms and equipment between every groom — our hygiene standards are non-negotiable.
